The running lights on my 2002 Cobra work properly but I get strange
results with the turn signals, testing with three different tow
vehicles.

Are there any caveats I should be aware of in using 6-way-round to 4-
way-flat and 4-way-flat to 7-way-blade adapters for the trailer? (I've
never been able to find a 6-to-7 adapter. One of my tow vehicles is an
RV with 6-way round, and my trailer has 7-way blade. I've found 7-
to-6, but not 6-to-7, appropriately gendered.)
