Army officer recieves Tuskegee Airman Award

Washington (Army News Service, Aug. 21, 2003) -- For the first time,
an Army officer was selected for the Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. General
Benjamin O. Davis, Jr. Military Award.
Lt. Col. Patrick D. Sargent, 421st Medical Evacuation Battalion (Air
Ambulance), 1st Medical Brigade received the award at the annual TAI
National Convention held in Denver, Colo. Aug. 5-10.
This award is given to a field grade officer who has exhibited
outstanding performance in both professional and community service,
according to TAI.
