Default Cordele, Georgia, Report Sunday 13 May 07

The smoke from the wildfires had cleared out and we
were treated to the famous South Georgia skies of many
legends. Bases were from 6,000' to 7,000' and average
lift was probably around 5 knots with reports of higher.

Today we had the official practice day. Tasks were
called for all four classes (18m, 15m, Standard, and
Sports) and I think everybody made it back home.

Four tow planes (I think) were working today with a
couple more coming tomorrow.

It's awfully dry here, which is bad news for the farmers,
but probably good news for us. Maybe it will stay
dry for the week.

Look for photos on the SSA web site under the contest
photo area, and not under the general photo section.
