It's quite an accomplishment, considering the size of the tube of glue.






Once the price of an unrestored spit went over £250,000, the RAF decided it
was time to harvest all the Spitfire and (the very few) Hurricane gate
guardians and replace them with these fibreglass replicas. Looks like they
had one or two left over for the colonies.
