There may be no fixed service life for Softie parachutes but many
riggers assume a 20 year life, and some won't repack regardless of how
good the chute and container looks after 20 years or age. Which might
make this 19 year old parachute not much of a bargain if your rigger
won't repack it - check with your rigger.
