I am still using a Canon 10D with a 100-400 lens. This combination
has served me well for the past four years but the fact that I am
usually shooting in the dark (in the cloudy mountains) and the push-me
pull-you zoom on the Canon lens (that I defy anybody to get the hang
of whilst panning) means that I am shortly going to buy a 300mm f2.8.
The 10D will also be superceded by the 40D as soon as it arrives. You
can always check my camera/photo details by downloading a photo and
right clicking on the file and selecting propertie/advanced. - it even
tells you the time that it was taken (UK time that is).
Great results... thanks for the details Rusty
