According to the Soaring 1997 sailplane directory, there was then 1 in
the USA. 3 were factory built and 20 kits were sold.

As Wayne mentioned,there are two currently listed on the FAA books.
The status of N4565K in California is listed as "revoked", while
N4032A in Wisconsin is listed as "valid". You can, of course find the
location on the FAA registry of aircraft type and N-numbers.
