Our EAA group did a Girl Scout Young Eagle fly, but all the girls had to
register 'on their own'; the Girl Scout part was an aviation badge
activity...

Very shady, and the people invoved in the Girl Scout troop would have their
asses hanging out, bare and ready to be kicked, if anything bad had
happened.

Just because it was not a "wink wink" official function would matter very
little to the lawyers.
