We are very happy to announce that LX Navigation will

LX8000 Color computer. This instrument has a color

able to read in bright sunlight!

I love the idea of the bright color display, but what
I'm really
wondering is ... is it available in the USA with FLARM
capability?

Appears to come standard with Flarm built in, according
to the brochure on Solaire's website, www.solairecanada.com
(click on the news section for LX8000 info). Looks
like a pretty champy unit to me, and should make for
a nice clean cockpit too...Price as yet to be announced,
but Ed estimates it should be in the upper $5000-lower
$6000 range. Not unreasonable considering a built in
IGC logger, no need for Ipaq/cables/cradles, built
in Flarm etc. LX is also offering Lx7000/7007 trade
in upgrade options. Neat-o.
