I've researched the sight for as much info as I can gather for
transponders. The choice now is, which transponder to buy. The
Becker or the Microair? Is one really better than the other? There
is not a real difference in the price point. Is there enough
differencer betwwen warranty, service and reliabilty to choose one
over the other? Your experinces and inputs would be appreciated.

Anybody have any luck with the new Becker mode S ?
I've had one on back-order for 1.5 years...

One of my buddies tried the new Garrecht unit,
it was DOA (though alledgedly working when the
plane was shipped to him). Took forever to get
repaired, seems OK now. Any other feedback
on the Garrecht unit ?

Thanks in advance !

I don't believe the Garrecht is yet certified in the US.

I have had some problems with the MicroAir T2000 installations, not
with the T2000 but with AmerKing encoder.
Apparently AmerKing powder coated their case and this removed a common
ground.

I think the demand in Europe is so large, that Becker and Garrecht are
concentrating on that market.

I sell both the Becker and the Microair.
