Central Florida, learning to fly?
wrote:
Hi, I'm 36 and have decided I've waited long enough to learn to fly.
When I was young I wanted to fly jets like most kids but then reality
got in the way. Fortunately, I've always loved soaring too ... I've
been flying r/c sailplanes for 10 years.. so maybe time to stop
playing with toys and fly the real thing
I'm in Tampa, FL, USA. Any locals with suggestions for a good
gliderport/school?
I'm not very local, but I can recommend Seminole-Lake Gliderport, west
of Orlando http://www.soarfl.com/main.htm
Knut & Ingrid Kjenslie are fine folks to work with.
