Loks like a gag, but it could easily be done. Lots of ultralights only need
about 100 feet or less of runway. I have an idea that the local authorities
might have issues with it.
It's been done though, It was a big thing in the 1930s when it was
frequently used to publicise the perofrmance of an airplane or gyroplane
