That's because the fuselage is open at the back. This serves to create
air resistance by *suction resistance*, stabilized flight, and keeps
the performance easy.

Care to explain how that works to us, Ken?

It's interesting because even high performance A/C
rely on "suction resistance" when using "speed-
brakes" and to a lesser extent spoilers.
It is also the principle of french "parachutes", how
do you spell that in english?
