Only a/c I jumped was C130, C141, Huey and a static Balloon --
military jumps. My skydiving days were mostly from Beavers or Twin
Otters. Some of the stuff the kids at the 82d have today ... wow ---
the old T10 is a museum piece.
All the Way!

As a pathfinder, I was able to get in jumps from many various birds
C-119 (door and tailgate, weird flying without the clamshell doors on..)
C-123 (Not fun, way too much prop blast)
C-124 ( hate that plane, too much sheet metal behind the door, and the
plane flys like a pig)
C-130 (door and tailgate)
C-141
C-7 Caribou (tailgate, before the USAF took them away from the army)
U6-Beaver
UH-1 Huey
CH-47 Chinook
Jumped T-10 and MC-1 chutes
can't remember all the skydiving planes..
We need some pictures to go with this thread! Here's some of mine from
a variety of places and sources.
Cheers,
Dave
