Hi,
I'm looking for a replacement Palm PDA to run SoaringPilot software.
I have a Tungsten T and I'm very happy with it's display clarity even
in bright sunlight, but it has a problem with touchscreen registration
when it gets hot, and this often makes the software unusable.
Anyone currently using other Palm devices, like the Tungsten E2 or
TX? If so, have you had any problems with touch-screen registration
and/or display glare/contrast?
TIA,

I used a Tungsten W last year but haven't given it as much exercise as
I'd like since then. The "W" has a cellphone in it (which you can turn
off and ignore) and a small keyboard like a Blackberry. The screen was
very clear in sunlight and I like the ability to use the keyboard to
access the different screens directly.
The "W" runs the older Palm v4 operating system (see the Wikipedia
article on the subject) but runs SoaringPilot just fine.
They appear on eBay quite often and dismantling to insert a new
battery isn't too scary.
