Sounds like Bernie Schaknowski, just outside of Atlanta. It was built
by his father (Bernie Sr) and has been flying about 25 years. It is a
tractor design, that will do over 200mph. Bernie uses a 180Hp Lycoming.

I found Bernie's email and we exchanged email. He also sent me a
couple great pictures of it. He's based at D73, Monroe-Walton County,
not too far from my home airport and invited me to come visit
sometime. Thanks for the help.

If he gives you a ride, I will be beside myself with envy.

I'm halfway thinking about calling the designer and asking about
purchasing a set of plans. If I do I'll definitely call Bernie and
tell him that I am looking into building one.
