Shop around for a FSDO that has people who understand glider equipment
and transfer your work there. *Beats banging your head against a wall.

Unfortunately, the friendly feds now have a rule that forbids FSDO
shopping....
Even the FAA web site says there is full reciprocity between German
and
US on TCDS parts. It also mentions that and EASA Form 1 can be used
the
same as an 8130. These feds haven't heard of it and won't look it
up....
We did buy the system from Tim Mara, and he has been very helpful in
trying
to sort this out. So far, tho, no luck with the feds...
