the RAF has just had the 2nd batch for air ground work cancelled.. hence
what i wrote came from MOD.

MOD told the newspaper..MOD made the decision to cut the RAF euro force
in to less.

No such story is carried on either the MOD site, the BBC , EADS or
the other sources I checked today. While negotiations are ongoing the
points at issue have been reported as the level of equipment and
upgrades involved.

There's a story in todays Daily Telegraph again suggesting the Third
tranche may be delayed or cancelled but nothing about the second tranche
and it ends

Interestingly pressure to accelerate the orders for the second tranche
is now coming from Germany which is keen to replace some of its
