Good point. I've got three or four sailplane forward fuselages stacked
up against the side of my house here in California. They're all for
single-seaters, but from a distance they'd probably pass for what's
being watched for in Europe.

One of the witnesses saw the lettering "EB28" on the half fuselage.
There simply aren't that many EB28 half fuselages being towed around
Europe at this time of year.

Pity they didn't get the vehicle reg too.
Anyway, from what I have heard, the police were absolutely NOT
interested in the whole affair - no injuries, no threat to life,
better things to do.
No harm in a few pro-active enquiries.
