That's OK; the Sea King's got the endurance for the job. ;-)

HAD the endurance. We ended up flying an instrument approach to a
completely VFR field. I was very proud of my pilots for not saying the
things to the tower over the radio, that they were saying about them in
the
aircraft.

No, sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I was referring to the Sea King is
no longer in service in the US Navy, except a couple of isolated
rescue/utility locations. It wasn't a close call at all, just annoying to
have to add the time of an instrument approach when the field was completely
visible to the entire world, except the tower.
