If the Operation Records Book exists, it will be at the Public Records
Office in Kew, outside London. The good news: the archives are
searchable to a certain extent online. The bad news: the archivists
are no longer responsive to questions by mail. (I probably exhausted
their patience.) You can purchase stuff if you have the file number
and cost (you need sterling checks) or you can go there and rummage
for yourself.
