You mean like unfolding and reading a paper map?


No, I mean by having a huge color moving map, and more, in front of your
face all of the time.


For me, having a huge color moving map on the panel would let me
interpret it more quickly than the small color moving map on a stalk
that I use now, so I'd spend less time looking at it. Using a PDA takes
me less time than using something like an LNAV or MNAV, and way less
time than using paper maps.

I have a ClearNav installed in my LS4. I can quickly glance at the
screen and get the information I need. No more squinting. The pilot
is the problem, not the hardware.
