We had a topic on that a year or so ago on here, considering how bad most
drivers are I don't think selling piloting to the masses is a good move
unless the only thing you have to do is put in the destination and hit
enter with zero human input after that point. If not it will be raining
composite and aluminum like crazy.

Actually, variants on the "anyone can learn to fly" theme are not really
new. IIRC, I've seem some old ad copy for the Ercoupe and also the Cessna
172 that suggested something of the sort. OTOH, the analogy to high end
sports cars could prove "interesting" even though it's a good fit for the
price point.

The difference is if you light throttle at hard corner in a 911, you get
trailing throttle oversteer, your rear comes around and you probably
survive.
