I never met Bill in person but from my years in this forum I feel like
someone I know has left us.
Yeah, a drunken old ****head who took pleasure in abusing people (c.f.
Highflyer, Sydney, et al.). I wouldn't go out of my way to **** on his
grave.
You might want to change your screen name. It doesn't fit you.
What? Change it back to Walter Wankstain, perhaps? But, do you really
expect civilized behavior from a DataBasux cretin?
The real LP was grieved to hear of BWB's demise. She's disgusted to think
some asshole would use the occasion of BWB's death to try to besmirch her
good name and his memory.

I haven't talked to BWB much in the last several years, but I was truly
saddened to hear of his tragic accident.
Janice is recovering slowly and with much pain, but she is recovering.
I personally am a bit leery of the Lancair aircraft because they don't seem
to do well in emergencies. Bill has had
engine failures before in pretty hot aircraft and emerged unscathed. This
time he didn't. It is a loss to aviation and
to this community.
