Google is now hosting Life Magazine's photographic archive. If you do a
do a search for an image using Google, just set the source to "Life".
Below is a 1939 shot of what has since become Canadian

Fanstatic... One question though... Where's the island? If I have
my bearings correct, the causway should to the rear by the building
with the stacks (steam plant?).
I think we're looking south by southwest. They seem to have screwed about
with the terrain in the intervening 69 years without consulting us, so I
am not sure. I had a look at Google's maps of the area, but they seem to
have been coy about putting any detail on the site.
