I'm sure the people who've sent you food parcel's have done so as a
gesture of respect and gratitude, it's doubtful that they'd expect or
desire any thanks from you other than the continued improvement of
your general health so you can continue to share information and
project status with everyone. Beside's don't you know how good a
smoked salmon omelet is?
