This is a subset of the theory that all usenet
discussions degenerate to the lowest point possible,
which in this case is comparing one's opponent to
Nazis. The usual implementation of this law (or
postulate, if you will) is that the first person
or side to do this is declared to have sunk below
the level of rational debate, and is therefore
considered the loser in that debate, and the
thread in which the mud-slinging has occurred
is now over.
