Default Australian contest movie

Does anyone remember a soaring documentary movie that came out in the 80s or
early 90s that featured a soaring contest in Australia and followed Ingo
Renner among others? *It might have been called "Zulu Romeo" or something?
Anyway, it was very well done, using helicopters to film gliders in flight,
etc. *I'd love to get a copy of it.

Clearly you are talking about the 74' Walkerie film, which has lots of
Renner, Moffat (who won the open class at that contest for a second
world title), Beltz, some Gross etc. Overall a real gem, although
kinda grainy (looks fine on normal TV's, but is quite noticeable when
using a projector). I can make you a copy of my copy, which also has
some rather *interesting additional features (quite separate from the
Walkerie flick, just happens to be on the same disc...) with some New
Zealanders helicopter towing gliders, where the tow begins err-
normally (well, as normal as can be for a heli tow with the glider
flying as a heavier-than-air craft, but above a certain height the
heli slows and tows the glider vertically like cargo (dangling and
rotating in the downwash) with the release being technically a
tailslide. It looks quite fun actually... Incidentally I just saw a
heli banner towing here in Oakland the other day, boy that little R-22
was sure working it's a$$ off!

PM me with your infos, maybe you have something to trade?? (I'll make
you a copy either way, but...)

PS. this film is a MUST for Std Cirrus lovers, as most of the Std
class are flying brand new Std Cirri...
