I wasn't measuring it DVH. I was just observing it.

3/4 car families. Houses piled high with posessions. Designer clothes
for the kids. Good healthcare. Couple of foreign holidays a year.


These are measurements. You're measuring prosperity in things like foreign
holidays and consumer goods.

No objection to that.

Your "index" could have increased in spite of any action by the Government.

For example having lots of consumer goods is a function of trade with China,
not the result of work by our dear leaders.

When I compare that to how I grew up. Just look at what has been
achieved. Amazing.


Yes, it is in many ways. I'm dubious as to how much of it was achieved by
government.


According to wikipaedia, the UK is the sixth largest economy in the
world. Blimey. Tiny island. *failed state* according to hummingbird.
