On the Schreder website there is an article from Tony Burton concerning
a back support he made for his RS-15. I also had a bit of a problem
with long flights in mine, and followed Tony's method for making a
support.
It works fine.

Quick comment - the easy way to make a fibreglass copy is simply to cover
it with lightweight fibreglass cloth, wetted out with epoxy, and finish
sand the result. One or two layers of 100 gsm (4 oz/sq.yard) should do
thje trick, and if you're feeling keen, a final layer of 25 gsm (1 oz/
sq.yard) will give a nice finish. Your local "RC hobby shop" should stock
suitable glass and epoxy or, if they don't, in the USA get it mail order
from Aerospace Composite Products or Composite Structures Technology.
