They only have 1% for now. They don't invent or innovate on their own -
independent thought is discouraged. So they bring foreign companies in, let
them operate for a bit, nationalize them, then become your next competitor.
It's happened over and over and over.

Robert, there is no arguing with someone who has a chunk on his
shoulder for this set of foreign nationals or that set of FNs. I could
point out that there are dozens of countries that have run their
businesses in similar fashion but why get in the way of your chosen
funset?

As far as Cirrus is concerned, it is a fine aircraft which can well
become a better one and a less expensive alternative mutually. The
only way that can happen in these days and times is for the Chinese to
step in; sure beats the Koreans!

The Chinese now own a piston-engine manufacturer, two VLJ airframes, a
kit company and several other technologies. Can any American company
say the same?

If we rely on Wichita and Florida to fashion our aircraft, we will
continue to be in a spiral of increasing prices (including operating
expenses) and decreasing performance.

The entry of the Chinese in the GA market is a good thing imho; it was
bound to happen and now it has.

What really happens will depend a lot on how much is moved to China and
what the FAA does.

Lot's of countries make airplanes, but when is the last time anyone saw
an APM 30 Lion on the local airplane dealers lot?
