I've had a Microair for about 3 years. It's rev P. *I've found it to
be very (extremely) sensitive to low voltage. But, that's not the
issue for this discussion. I was flying a few days ago when it began
to turn itself on and off in a more or less random fashion. All of my
other electronics were fine.
I landed and found that all of my memory freq's were gone. But, to my
surprise, it seemed to have healed itself after I landed. I flew the
next day and had no issues.
Any thoughts on what would have flashed the freq's in memory?
The only thing I'm confident of is that the problem will resurface. I
did nothing to solve it so it will be back. I guess I'll fly with the
handheld in reserve and lament having saved a few hundred bucks on the
Microair. *It's been unreliable from the day it was installed.

There was a Microair SB to re-seat the micro controller. *Poor contact
with the socket was causing a variety is problems, some of which only
showed up when the radio was hot. *It's easy enough to do if you are
competent with electronics repair but I don't know if it applicable to
your mod letter. * Email me if you like and I'll send it to you. *The
factory no longer publishes the SBs but I have a copy and photos of
the insides.

Thanks, but I don't have a problem. I was offering assistance.
