Hi John,
The GPS-NAV LCD Navigation display is not required, but it is highly
recommended. It makes navigation easy and is a nice and reliable backup to
a PDA (PDAs require careful care and feeding to work properly). You can
still buy the LCD displays he

According to the HP "Quickspecs" page for the rz1710 (see link below), the
unit has full RS-232 support through its power/data connector. Therefore a
standard Goddard I38C-x cable would work great for connecting it to the
Cambridge GPS-NAV's DB-9 serial port.

I'm sorry, but I don't have any used LCD displays or I38C cables.

Hi All,
The charity I help out with (http://www.freedomswings.ca/fw/ -- we
provide Inspiration Flights and training in the disabled community)
has come into possession of various PDA/PNA parts. I've gotten
everything together and working except for an iPaq rz1710 and
Cambridge Model 10.
I figure I just need a cable to connect the C-10 into the port on the
iPaq... anyone have one, cheap/free? We also need to figure out if
the C-10 is working -- the boss is handling that.
I didn't see anything that looked like the LCD display -- will the
combination work without this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
John
