Ask the person to login to the OLC and in "My Settings" add you as a trusted competitor. You will now be able to modify this person's flights.

This goes for anyone who might need help with submitting or managing their flights. Find someone with knowledge and experience to be your trusted partner, so issues like this can be quickly resolved without resorting to help from the OLC team.
