I have also added Alex's Uvlade RASP forecast to my very simple iPhone
RASP viewer that makes these forecast sites easier to look at on an
iPhone (but does not cache forecasts for offline/in-flight use).
Go here on your iPhone
http://www.darryl-ramm.com/iRASP
(This will also work on iPod Touch, iPad and likely many other non-IE
browsers-but all I care about supporting are iOS devices. This link
won't work on IE browsers, and yes that is an IQ test)
Select "Uvalde, TX" from the locations pull down. Select the forecast
times in the pull downs. The rest should be self explanatory, play
around and see. Please email problems specific to the the iRASP wrapper
to me.
Thanks so much to Alex for running these RASP forecasts for the Uvalde
contestants.
Have a great contest, fly safely.

Dear fellow soaring geeks and nerds,
I'm going to try to run a Dr. Jack "RASP" soaring forecast for Uvalde
during the Pre-Worlds.
No guarantees, but a successful run was done last night for Aug 3, 4,
and 5. It is set up for
a 2.6KM grid resolution.
If all continues to go well, I will try to make it available at this
