thought the wingbox problem was in the A models and those fall in the
1954-57 time peroid.

I'm pretty certain that the wingbox problem was actually in the E
models. That is one reason why the USAF has been downsizing its C-130E
inventory and replacing them with J's.



E production numbers show dates from 1961-1972
so they do overlap the K & H models a bit..
