Default Recorder Serial Number

Trying to get my new Android device configured with XCSoar and I'm faced

one of the log files or do I have to trek to the airport (it's snowing
outside), hook up, and read the serial number from the CAI-302?

The logs I've got on my Android are of the form, XCS-AAA-nn, where nn is
a one-up number. It doesn't seem that XCS-AAA would be a serial number.

When setting up XCSoar you can set up your own serial number arbitrarily
- remember it is not an approved IGC flight data recorder. I generally
set it up to match the last 3 letters of my glider, it is a better
chance to be unique.

This setting has no impact or connection to the secure file generated by
your CAI302.
