Appears to be set up for signals ferreting. Perhaps ?

They're ASV (Air to Surface Vessel) Mk.II radar aerials. Note the other
aerial under the wing. Similar installations were on the Catalina and
Sunderland.


I forgot the Whitley, Fortress and Liberator.
