Actually N5644, I think. HMAS Australia used N5644 for 'aircraft
experiments' in the Firth of Forth in the period March-May 1918. See:

As an aside, the Aviation Preservation Society of Scotland is building a
flying replica of a Strutter less than 30 miles from where this photograph
was taken. Though you can't really tell from their web site, the project is
still progressing:
