Three (3) XF2D-1's were ordered (BU#'s 99858/99860). They were
reclassified XF2H-1 after delivery. BTW the FD was the original
phantom. Douglas never built a FD or F2D. Joe.

Douglas product, which I have not found listed in "American Combat
Planes."
