FLARM Installation

Hi Tom,
I flew with the FLARM mounted on top of the instrument panel and found it hard to see that far away. Just made a canopy mount on the right rail, much as we did with cameras years ago. I raised it straight up about 6", then 90 degree bend inwards. I angled it in and down a bit. It is now about 14" from my head and I can instantly interpret the info. FLARM is a situational awareness aid and I want to spend zero time trying to interpret the warning and emmediately look in the threat area. Don't know how to post a photo to the group.
