Default BMapper and/or Dr. Jack's site dead?

In summary: The RUC forecast system was retired recently, so
everything dependent on that data has broken. NAM forecasts still
work.

Jack and Walt Rogers are working over the next 1-2 weeks to get the
"new" RAP forecast models working with Dr Jack's various tools and
things will be back up and running once that work is done. No idea
yet if the RAP will be better or worse than the RUC at forecasting
what us glider pilots want to see.

i believe XCSkies has switched over to the RAP although they still call it the RUC until they get time to change that code. I'm surprised that Dr. Jack is updating his website considering that I was under the impression he was just going to let it coast with no upkeep for eternity. Not complaining though!
