True. And not all contestants are consistent with their Spot or who's tracker they're subscribed to. Some teams--located in their "hidden" offices--have pretty powerful base stations to communicate on discreet frequencies.. The FCC worked out permits for all of them so they could "stay in touch" with their pilots.

(near Kerrville) and nothing made sense when comparing Spot tracking

with the evolving real-time flightpaths.



The uncoordinated delay of the Spot tracking makes for poor spectator

participation, it would seem. I understand about the need for being

stealthy for tactical purposes, but why not record all the pilot logs

the same and broadcast them with a coordinated delay (15 or 30min) so

we know how the contest is playing out in "semi" real time? Tivo-

tracking? With SeeYou, isn't it possible for us to upload all/some of

the individual logs and view them in 2D or 3D?
