It was incredible (after the fact) how many of us did not notice. I was in a crowd of 50 or so waiting for Concordia to go. I was filming the upcoming motor launch and when I took my eyes off the camera screen and focused on the glider directly. I new something was wrong but did not know what for a moment. A bit like looking at the "find the difference game" and trying to find the discrepancy. When i realized it was a cover on the tail and the glider adding power I could not believe it... very glad it was caught! Scary what might have happened if he began his role.
