There were several long wave flights in Utah on Saturday. Dan Wrobel posted a flight of more than 700K in a Ventus B 16.6 to OLC and York Zentner flew over 1000K in LM (ASG-29) but appears to have had a logger failure. His spot trace will be around for a few days: http://share.findmespot.com/shared/f...WzSG3xN8NK 4A Congratulations to both for an impressive flight and pushing the boundary's of the wave in northern Utah. It looks like FAI three point flights of over 1000K are possible and OLC of 1500K. The Southern end of the flights was south of Provo and northern end was about 30 miles north of Logan.

Could have predicted that conditions were going to be great based on a certain local pilot being out of the country

Nice flights Dan & York!
