Also, the max PCAS range is 7.5 km (about 4.7 miles) on the tool. *Max range used to be 9620m, which is almost 6 miles. *Which is correct, or does it make any difference?

Since the PCAS function doesn't work (at least not well enough to
replace a Zaon MRX) it makes no difference.
