When I was about ten, or eleven (I'm now 73) my grandfather told me about
his "Sasquatch" encounters. There were also many stories about them being
seen around Mt St Helen and the North Cascades back in the 1960. At one
time there was even a Sasquatch Crossing sign on the North Cascade highway.
Over time I have become very skeptical about their existence. After all, my
grandfather was a great story teller that could entertain children for
hours.
