Default Condor Logitech X3D Pro settings or driver

Following suggestions in Soaring, I am trying to use the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick with Condor 1.1.5 and Win 7. The control of sensitivity is not sufficient for success with the Flight Training turning exercise.

Is there a Logitech driver needed, or is there a way of setting Condor Inputs to allow for a usable scenario?

Is the older sidewinder preferable from a fine control standpoint?

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks Paul, for this reply and your excellent set of Condor Tips!
Yes, I have followed your tips with limited success. Although using the non-linearity setting to decrease the stick sensitivity for ailerons and elevator, the flying is highly unstable, not allowing straight and level flight.. The simulation is far different from flying real fiberglass sailplanes.

I will try the limits for flattening of the lower part of the curves (almost there now), as I am seeking more realistic simulation. (I am a CFIG and former sailplane owner). I appreciate the invitation to call.

Thanks Dan, for the helpful advice on setting up this joystick! I plan to try the suggestions.

Cheers,
Kent
