Thanks for the kind words.
I passed a sign for Avro Arrow Road in Nobel on the drive down to
Hamilton. I think there was a design office there that dealt with the
Orenda engines that were to power the Arrow. There is also a full size
model in a museum in Downsville or somewhere similar in north Toronto.
Some years ago I posted a couple of pictures of a surviving Arrow nose
section in at the Canadian Aviation Museum in Ottawa. The conspiracy
theorists think that one example of the prototypes escaped the scrap
man's axe. That will have to do in lieu of an actual example of the
aircraft. LOL

Yes, the film about that was on our TV a few months back. An interesting
view on the apparent wrecking of Canada's then innovative and
potentially world beating aircraft industry.
