Default SeeYou for iOS or Android? Update to desktop version?

I agree iOS is too small except for iPhone 5. But the new iPhone 5s will be a 4.5 inch screen with an ultra bright retina display (release in late September). It would make sense for software players to start respecting that most of their customers use iPhones. Many of these customers would really appreciate the ability to utilize them as they do in aircraft navigation with apps such as foreflight (full sectional chart navigation overlay with weather...). iPad mini is also a good option and a panel could be built around this device. With so many users of Apple products in soaring, not supporting them is really strange.

I have just purchased an LG Optimus Android phone (Ebay, new in box, $275) which makes the galaxy note look dim in comparison. I have sold the streak due to it being so old now that it is limited to Android 2.2. I think the LG is brighter than the Dell Streak and close to the Oudie 2 with FAR, FAR better touch resolution, screen resolution, battery life/tech, processor speed, GPS quality, etc, etc, etc. Hard to pay $625 for a 10 year old piece of hardware and software...

Im excited to see the rumored Android version! That would be impressive. What I really want to see an updated desktop version (major refresh or complete rebuild). I would happily pay for it. I think most of us would as well...especially if it was for OS X!
